You are The Metamorph

This game was created for the Pirate Software GameJam 16 mainly by me, with all the artwork by Samolocik46.

You are the sword, the last specimen of the Metamorph race, who were once able to shapeshift into anything, and lived on their planet in peace with the Morphopmets, who were very physically gifted, but couldn't morph. One unfortunate night, the Morphomets rebelled, and started eating the Metamorphs, as that was the only way they could shapeshift. Since the Metamorphs are immortal, they remain in eternal suffering inside the Morphomets, while they enjoy their stolen powers.

You are the only one that escaped to Earth, losing almost all of your powers, you can only shapeshift into inanimate objects, and you also retained your slight power of mind control, although now it only feels like a suggestion to the one you're controlling.

Since you can't move on your own, you turned yourself into the most attractive thing for the strongest species on Earth, humans, the sword.
